PICO DE LORO - DIY

When I was still in college I dreamed of going to Pico de Loro. I was able to fulfill this dream when I started working. Pico de Loro is found in the southern part of Metro Manila. It is located in Nasugbu, Batangas.

How to get there:

We rode a bus going to Pico de Loro. Busses going to Nasugbu are usually in Buendia near lrt station. There are also busses in Pasay, near MRT station.

Upon reaching Nasugbu we contacted the tricycle driver who was referred to us. After meeting the driver that will take us to Pico de Loro we first went to a grocery store to buy foods like chips, water, and biscuits.

Place to stay:

We did not stay at the hotel. Hence we stayed in one of the property that is rented out. It is much cheaper and there's a lot of perks. First, you can cook your own food. There is stove and sink, there are also utensils like pot, pan, and kettle. Second, you can have access to areas that are only exclusive for members.

The Place:

Pico de Loro is a good place to stay especially if you want a place near Metro Manila yet you can still enjoy peace and serenity. They have pools and beach. They also have other activities like Cove tours, Eco Trails, etc.

Reminders:

Make sure to bring a credit or a debit card if you plan to go here. They do not accept cash. All transactions are made via card.
